CONFIRMATION

I have told you now before it happens, so that when it does take place, you may believe and have faith [in Me]. John 14:29

I’m learning so much about the character of God in the midst of my journey. I think that was the point.

But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Matthew 6:33

That’s another promise and a condition for those who follow Jesus. But when you choose to make Him a priority, He takes care of everything else. This has been a season of confirmation. After every blog I complete, some way somehow, I see or hear something along the same lines of what I was given to write. Sometimes, it will be exact words, phrases or even the same scripture I was led to. So, naturally I thank God for letting me know I’m on the right track.

I don’t know why I’m stuck on the story of Noah’s Ark, but God sent out a dove to Noah to check if the flood had ended. The dove returned with an olive leaf in its beak to confirm. The dove is also a symbol used to indicate peace.

Ok, so let’s piece this all together. God will always confirm His word, His instructions and His will for your life. And the closer you draw near to Him; the closer He draws near to you. So, whether He uses a donkey, a dove or the unction of His peace on the inside of you, you will definitely receive confirmation. Me, personally I’m starting to get excited even with the trials and tribulations. Because although I don’t know the specifics, through His word, I know how this chapter ends.

And in a short little while, He will confirm my Victory!

 Who shall also confirm you unto the end, that ye may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.
