NEVERMIND WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE

“For we walk by faith, not by sight.” 2 Corinthians 5:7

Faith by definition means complete trust or confidence in someone or something. Biblically, faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not yet seen (Hebrews11:1). Both apply to me in this season. I’ve had to operate on blind faith with my complete trust in God to keep His word to protect me from dangers I can see and the ones I can’t, to provide for me and meet every need and to strengthen me to be able to stand when I’ve done all I can do.

So far, He’s kept his word. I don’t ever believe that will change. In fact, my faith is even stronger. You see I left with two outfits. Would you believe that I’ve received bags of clothes with tags still on them and they fit me perfectly? Actually, I did several times and not just for me but for my children too.

I’ve prayed a specific prayer concerning my family for the last almost 4 years and recently got a glimpse of that prayer being answered. That glimpse also answered the question of why I am where I am. I’m surrounded by green pastures where my soul is being restored and my steps established. It’s the intricate details in which His plan is unfolding that excite me.

Wow, I stay in awe.

I could go on and on giving examples of the way God has been with me every step of the way, but the point is, He is doing it. Even with blind faith, He is doing it. Even when I can’t see it, He’s working. Even when I can’t feel it, He’s still working. Even when others lose hope, I won’t. He’s given me no reason to doubt Him and every reason to place my complete trust in Him.

I have crazy faith right now. It’s that unmovable, unshakable and unwavering faith where I know everything I am believing and praying for is ALREADY DONE! And soon, I will see it.

The truth is all you really need is faith the size of a mustard seed to move mountains.

Matthew 17:20 - And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

God, I thank you!
