JUST SHOW UP!

“Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it.”

Luke 11:28

There’s provision in obedience. I experienced that promise over and over again. It’s engraved in my heart now. The evidence of things hoped for, yet not seen is faith. Obedience requires faith to move when you don’t have all the details. That realization used to be overwhelming and sometimes still creeps in.

I have to be transparent and confess that I began to ask questions I already knew the answers to. Those questions revealed a slight hint of doubt. Doubt CANNOT take hold of what I’m believing for. So, what does God’s word say?

If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land.

Isaiah 1:19

I heard clearly just show up which means to me that everything I need will be provided when I get there. Better yet, I already have everything I need right now. Even greater, I’m confessing God is able to do abundantly above all that I could ask or think.

Not only will I show up, but I’ll also show up with the utmost confidence in the ONE who sent me. I recently listened to a live where the host said by the spirit of God, sometimes you have to leave all your baggage and just get on the plane and then a plane flew right above him. Well, that in addition to what I already heard was enough confirmation for me.

God hears me when I pray. He answers when I seek Him through His word and God always PROVIDES!

Sometimes all that’s required, is for us to just simply show up!
